For administrators

It can be difficult for scholars to revise their work in reponse to written critique. Readers' reports may feel overwhelming, even for those who have the support of writing groups. Susan engages with the manuscript and the readers' reports, and provides substantive feedback on the level of the sentence, the paragraph, and the manuscript as a whole. By working with Susan one-on-one, your faculty members approaching third-year review will minimize the psychological roadblocks to productivity, get feedback from a seasoned professional, and submit their improved manuscripts in a timely fashion.

What AI Can't Do

With lengthy experience as a faculty member, dissertation reader, and academic advisor of both undergraduate and graduate students, along with a roster of satisfied faculty clients in current consulting work, Susan is a developmental editor and a coach. Meetings on Zoom or in person allow for face-to-face intellectual exchange about suggested revisions to the manuscript. There is no AI substitute for this collaborative process.
