Nominations Strategy
Three years building an external honorifics program at Brown have afforded me valuable hindsight about how to partner with academic departments and schools to make the process of seeking external recognition truly inclusive. The strategy of integrating external recognition into faculty development should begin with mid-career faculty, specifically faculty who have received tenure in the past two years. In consultation with department chairs and senior administrators, I build strategies for individuals and for academic departments using qualitative and data-driven approaches.
